As the International Union of Islamic Publishers, we continue our General Assembly preparations and consultation efforts with determination. In this framework, we visited Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez, former President of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye and recently appointed Rector of Türkiye Islamic Science and Technology University, at his new office to congratulate him.

During the meeting, important topics such as the International Islamic Book Fair project, joint publication efforts among Islamic publishers, and translation activities were discussed. We also had the opportunity to exchange ideas on the content planning of the General Assembly to be held in Istanbul on September 25-27. We extend our deepest gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mehmet Görmez for his valuable guidance and thoughtful contributions.
